Klein High junior Trenton Marshall is a standout student-athlete who excels on and off the field.
A lifelong Klein ISD student, he has challenged himself academically, athletically, and artistically since intermediate school, maintaining an A/B average while taking advanced classes.
“One thing that really keeps me on top of my grades is making sure I can still play football,” Trenton said. “My parents told me that even if I’m passing, if my grades aren’t up to their standards, they will take me out of football, so I make sure I stay on top of my academics.”
Trenton is a true athlete who has expanded his experience beyond football into track and field, where he throws shot put and discus. This year, he’s adding a new challenge by competing in wrestling for the first time. In addition to being a star athlete, Trenton also shines musically. A former trombonist in the school band, he gives his all to everything he does.
While Trenton has dedicated much of his time to various sports, one sport holds a special place in his heart. His love for football started when he was just seven years old, after his dad put him on a youth football team. He knew it was the right fit for him.
“Trenton is the epitome of what it means to be a Bearkat,” Klein High School Head Football Coach Nicholas Codutti said. “He's the guy who holds a standard. Everything he does is above the line. When you look at him, you see a kid who's doing things right, who's got a bright future ahead of him. He's a leader with a servant’s heart, and he does everything with a smile on his face.”
