Klein, Texas—Klein ISD has again been named a 2025 Best Community for Music Education by the NAMM Foundation, marking the 14th consecutive year—and 18th year overall—that the district has earned this prestigious national honor.
Presented annually, the award celebrates school districts that demonstrate outstanding achievement in efforts to provide music access and education to all students. The selection process involves a comprehensive review of program structure, participation, funding, and community engagement.
“Our tradition of excellence in the arts produces not only exceptionally skilled performers but well-rounded students who bring tremendous pride to our Klein community,” Superintendent Dr. Jenny McGown said. “This national recognition received for the 14th consecutive year is a result of the collective efforts of talented students, supportive families, and top-notch fine arts educators. Congratulations!”
The continued recognition as a Best Community for Music Education reflects Klein ISD’s enduring commitment to the arts as a core element of student development. From elementary music fundamentals to award-winning high school ensembles, the district’s music programs are deeply intertwined with all educational offerings.
“In Klein ISD, music education isn’t just celebrated—it’s truly valued,” Klein ISD Director of Fine Arts Frank Chuter said. “This honor reflects our community’s shared commitment to delivering transformative, high-quality music experiences for every student.”
Klein ISD’s music programs—from elementary music classes to nationally recognized high school ensembles—continue to provide students with enriching experiences that go beyond the classroom.
Congratulations to the students, staff, families, and community partners who help make music a vital part of life in Klein ISD.
