The 25th Annual A.K. “Buddy” Brown Klein ISD Education Foundation Golf Classic and raffle raised a record-breaking $180,000 for classroom grants.
These funds will be awarded as classroom grants to Klein ISD educators to benefit students.
Over 188 golf enthusiasts, 63 community partners, sponsors, and countless volunteers made this event successful at the beautiful Gleannloch Golf Club.
“Our golf tournament is all about creating a great experience for our players while making sure every dollar raised goes right back to supporting our students and teachers,” said Klein Education Foundation President Bill Lakin. “It is always great to see our partners out on the course with their teams, having fun and standing behind our mission. We are so thankful for their generosity.”
Golf tournament proceeds are put directly back into classrooms to fund engaging educational experiences for our Klein ISD students and teachers.
“For 25 years, the A.K. Buddy Brown Golf Classic has stood as a powerful example of what makes our Klein Family so special—people coming together to support our students and teachers,” Klein ISD Superintendent Dr. Jenny McGown said. “I’m grateful for every volunteer, business partner, and community member whose generosity continues to transform promise into purpose across Klein ISD and made this tournament a record-breaking year.”
Thank you to the Klein ISD Education Foundation directors, event sponsors, and the Klein community for working together to put on a terrific event to celebrate the 2025 A.K. Buddy Brown Golf Classic. We are so grateful for all you have done to make the Golf Classic a historic success.
