Klein ISD hosted its annual Fine Arts Signing Day in recognition of 40 students who signed letters of intent to continue their Visual and Performing Arts careers in colleges from across the country to right here in Texas. Scholarships obtained by students who signed amounted to a record-breaking $4.5 million!
The Klein Multipurpose Center ballroom was filled with tables decorated with college memorabilia and proud families. As the students’ names and colleges were announced, they came forward and signed a letter of intent to continue pursuing their passion for the arts in college.
"It was a thrill to celebrate 40 talented, dedicated, and creative students who have found their purpose in the fine arts and are prepared for the next journey,” Klein ISD Fine Arts Director Frank Chuter said. “Their $4.5 million in scholarships is a testament to the excellence in arts education in Klein ISD and the unwavering support of our teachers, families, and community. Events like Fine Arts Signing Day reflect the strength and success of our programs and the bright future of these student artists."
Congratulations to these many wonderful and talented students who are so gifted in the arts! Your Klein Family is cheering you on as you move into the next chapter of your lives.
