Klein Collins High School and Klein High School have earned one of the highest honors in high school musical theatre, “Outstanding Orchestra,” in their respective classes (Tier 1 and Tier 2), at the prestigious 2025 Tommy Tune Awards.
This well-deserved recognition highlights the extraordinary talent, discipline, and collaboration within the music departments at both schools. Their performances exemplified the excellence and artistry that have become hallmarks of Klein ISD Fine Arts.
“Each year, our students and staff raise the standard of excellence even higher,” Klein ISD Director of Fine Arts Frank Chuter said. “Creating productions of this caliber demands extraordinary talent, countless hours of dedication, and seamless collaboration among our theatre, music, and dance departments. We are excited to see their hard work and artistry recognized by Theatre Under the Stars.”
The Tommy Tune Awards celebrate over 20 years of honoring the best in high school musical theatre across the Greater Houston area. Schools compete in over 15 categories, adjudicated by a panel of professional artists from the Houston theatre and music community.
