Klein ISD Honors Community & Business Partners for Exceptional Support

Klein ISD celebrated beloved community and business partners at this year’s annual Partners in Education (PIE) Breakfast*. The care and commitment of our cherished partners each year help create the absolute best learning environments and opportunities for our students and staff here in Klein ISD.

Superintendent Dr. Jenny McGown expressed heartfelt appreciation for the dedication and generosity of the district’s community partners.

“I am deeply grateful for our incredible community partners who generously share their time, talents, and hearts with our Klein Family,” Dr. McGown said. “Your faithful support helps us create extraordinary learning experiences for our students. Thank you for continuing to walk alongside us and for helping us uphold Klein ISD’s proud tradition of excellence.”

Klein ISD Honors Community & Business Partners for Exceptional Support

Christy Spisak, Klein ISD Director of Community Relations & Education Foundation, shared a moving reflection on the power of partnership and the deep impact of community support.

“Our Partners in Education are the heartbeat of our Klein Community, standing beside us to support our students, teachers, and schools in countless ways,” Ms. Spisak said. “Their generous investment helps our students thrive and reminds us of what’s possible when a community comes together to support public education. We couldn’t do this work without them.”

Among the many shining examples of partnership is Chef Irv Richardson, a dedicated community partner with Kroger, who brings his passion for cooking into Klein Oak’s Special Education classrooms.

“I love getting the students involved—hats, aprons, all of it,” Chef Richardson said. “After everything I lost during Hurricane Katrina, giving back like this means a lot to me. Seeing the joy these students and teachers in Klein ISD share while cooking together is something special.”

Our #KleinFamily is so grateful to these remarkable individuals for giving up their time, talent, and treasure to propel the success of our district and EVERY Klein ISD student. Thank you for your continued support!
