Klein ISD continues to demonstrate exceptional academic performance, with across-the-board gains in the 2025 State Accountability ratings. We’re so proud of our hardworking teachers and students who are continuing to lead the way in academic excellence. In the 2025 State Accountability Ratings, Klein ISD improved overall and across the board in student achievement, student progress, and closing the achievement gap. For the second year in a row, we also earned an “A” in College, Career, and Military Readiness (CCMR), and for the first time ever, all five of our high schools are projected to earn an “A” in CCMR—a huge milestone in preparing students for their purpose after graduation.
Since the state’s accountability scoring reset in 2023, the district has seen a 33% increase in A-rated schools, 13% more B-rated schools, and a 55% decrease in C-rated campuses, with no D or F rated schools. Notably, every intermediate and high school earned an “A” or “B” rating, and our schools earned a total of 127 academic distinctions, an increase of 37% from the prior year!
Students also excelled in advanced academics. Nearly 1,000 students have earned APⓇ Scholar recognition, which is an 18% increase from last year. We’re also proud to celebrate 15 National Merit Semifinalists, along with 35 Commended Scholars who are in the running for significant scholarship opportunities as a result of their hard work.
