Klein ISD Parents Report Continued Confidence in 2025 Satisfaction Survey

Klein, Texas—Klein ISD parents reported continued confidence and satisfaction in their schools, according to results from the district’s 2025 Family Satisfaction Survey. Preliminary results show that families are not only maintaining high levels of approval but are increasingly moving from “agree” to “strongly agree” and from “satisfied” to “very satisfied” across all key measures of success.

For the third consecutive year, results from the Klein Family Satisfaction Survey confirm a steady upward trend, with families expressing immense trust in Klein ISD’s ability to provide safe, high-quality learning environments and meaningful opportunities for every student.

Highlights from the 2025 Survey

Compared to last year’s survey results, Klein ISD families reported notable growth, with the number of respondents moving from “agree” to “strongly agree” and from “satisfied” to “very satisfied,” increasing across all key measures.

Communication: 91% of families agreed Klein ISD effectively communicates important information, with a 2-point increase in “strongly agree.”
Partnerships: 93% said Klein ISD encourages positive and productive school-community partnerships, with a 4-point increase in “strongly agree.”
Engaging Curriculum: 91% agreed Klein ISD provides meaningful, real-world learning opportunities, with a 5-point increase in “strongly agree.”
Safe and Disciplined Schools: 87% agreed Klein ISD maintains safe and disciplined environments, with a 6-point increase in “strongly agree.”
Family Resources: 90% agreed the district equips families with resources to support student learning, with a 5-point increase in “strongly agree.”

Families also reported higher levels of satisfaction with core student programs from last year:

Academic programs: 94% of families said they were “satisfied” or “very satisfied” with the Academic choices and programs in Klein ISD, with a 4-point increase in “very satisfied.”
Fine Arts programs: 95% of families said they were “satisfied” or “very satisfied” with the Fine Arts programs in Klein ISD, with a 4-point increase in “very satisfied.”
Athletics programs: 94% of families said they were “satisfied” or “very satisfied” with the Athletic programs in Klein ISD, with a 6-point increase in “very satisfied.”

Overwhelming Majority of Respondents Recommend Klein ISD

When asked about recommending Klein ISD, 95% of families responded that they would, yes, recommend Klein ISD to other parents. This near-unanimous score underscores the district’s reputation as a trusted partner in education and a community where families are proud to belong.

“These results show us once again that the overwhelming majority of Klein ISD parents remain deeply satisfied and confident in our schools,” Superintendent Dr. Jenny McGown said. “Our families’ continued pride and sustained trust in Klein ISD is a point of pride for our entire Klein community and reflects their appreciation for the hard work and dedication of our outstanding teachers and dedicated support staff as we all continue working together for the benefit of our students.”

Family Priorities Remain Consistent

For the third consecutive year, families identified academic excellence (15%), safe and disciplined schools (14%), and high-quality teaching and support staff (14%) as their top priorities.

This consistency reflects strong alignment between family values and Klein ISD’s focus. Families continue to see academic quality, safety, and exceptional staff as the most essential drivers of trust and satisfaction in their schools.

Other areas of importance included mental health and wellness (10%), college and career preparation (10%), transparent communication (9%), family engagement (9%), extracurricular opportunities (8%), technology resources (7%), and fiscal responsibility (6%).

The results suggest that while families value a wide range of supports and opportunities, they place the greatest weight on the core pillars that make schools safe, rigorous, and staffed with excellent educators.

Technology Use Preferences

A new question for this year was asking families how much time students should spend on digital devices. Across all grade levels, more than half of families preferred that students spend 50% or less of their school day on devices. Notably, 55% of respondents said elementary students should use devices no more than 25% of the time, while support for greater device use increased at the intermediate and high school levels.

The findings highlight that families value technology as a learning tool, but want it balanced with hands-on, collaborative experiences. These parent expectations align with our instructional framework in Klein ISD.

Looking Ahead

Klein ISD will continue using the annual Family Satisfaction Survey as a key tool to listen, learn, and act on family feedback, ensuring every student enters with a promise and exits with a purpose.
